Her 2007 "Rodeo Wranglers" music album
consists of songs about experiences at the
rodeo. Shelley Anderson is especially proud
to include "Cord Jarret McCoy" as one of
her newer songs. "I try to write songs that
show what cowboys and cowgirls go
through emotionally and physically when
they compete. Their determination to win is
incredible as is their faith which carries
them through the good times and bad."
As with all of her music, Shelley's Rodeo
Wranglin songs are as fresh and original as
they are entertaining. "I was inspired by
the American Spirit of the Rodeo and the
cowboys and cowgirls who carry on their
family traditions", Shelley explains, "These
songs are about the determination to win
and working hard to earn a living and to
achieve goals and dreams. Cowboys and
cowgirls expect disappointment and
heartache. When they don't measure up or
when odds seem to be against them they
just keep on tryin". What a great message
to give everybody."
